Aster

Pronounced: AH-stehr

Aster came to EGCH in October 2017. She’s from Bana Semay, in the South Omo Zone. She’s here on an educational scholarship due to a lack of quality education in that part of Ethiopia. She is very smart and one of the heads of the Education Bureau came and was very impressed to see how well she did in school. He asked if she could be brought to Hawassa so that she could receive a better education.
