Genet

Genet is a sweet young lady from the Bena Tsemay district in the South Omo Zone. She comes from a very poor family and is the middle of five children. Where she comes from, there is little to no quality education and oftentimes young girls Genet’s age get kidnapped and then forced into marriage. Her family, knowing that she was a very intelligent young lady, wanted Genet to have a better opportunity for her life. She started living at Ebenezer in September 2025 and has enjoyed attending a new private school and studying in a room she shares with two other girls. We believe God brought Genet to Ebenezer to give her a hope and a future, and we look forward to seeing what great things He will accomplish in her life.
