Rut

Pronounced: ROOT

Rut came to EGCH in June 2012 after being found wandering in a rural community. Because Rut is deaf, we previously had no knowledge of Rut’s history and/or family background. In Fall 2015, Rut began attending a boarding school for deaf children some four hours away. Even over a short period of time, she’s been able to share some vague information about her family background. We hope with her continuing to grow in her sign language acquisition, that she will be able to share more of her past.
