Kalkidan moved to EGCH in August 2018. She came with her older sister, Freyhiwot M., after they had faced some issues with extended family that eventually forced them out of their family home.

Prior to her arrival, we had supported their family due to their mother’s (Lemlem) disabilities and family conditions. We continue to support Lemlem, and her other children who do not reside in our care.
